Product Feature: Nativity Note Cards

Christmas is not really Christmas

without the story of Christ's birth.

As a child I looked forward every year

to hearing Daddy read the Christmas story.

As I have gotten older, the story has never grown old.

I still love it just as much as - maybe even more than -  ever.

Product Feature: Pear Recipe Cards

I love cooking and baking. It's one of my favorite things to do!

Especially if I get to create the recipe myself! :)

 

 

One day, as I was mixing something in a bowl,

I was happily employed in two things at once

(the happy thing about being a girl - you can multi-task!):

baking and planning new SparrowFall design ideas.

 

 

Obviously the two projects bumped into each other,

and I had a new product! Recipe cards!

 

 

Pears were so fun and kitchen-y (is that a word? Oh, well! It is now! :))

they were a must in my recipe card collection!

I don't have many recipe card designs in my shop right now - only two, to be exact -

but I'm hoping to add more as time goes by!

Product Feature: Rose Note Cards

This is the drawing that started it all. 

All I wanted to do was draw a notecard for a friend...

So I drew a note card. I decided to see if I could do

it in something other than pencil.

I decided pen and ink. And you see the results!

My very first pen and ink drawing! :)

And then it went down hill from there! (Just kidding!)

I fell in love with the crisp clean lines,

the bold to delicate variance you could give...

What I didn't fall in love with was the 

"once there, always there" stroke policy.

Oh, well... everything has it's pros and cons! :)

Product Feature: Bonjour! Note Cards

I love French Country, Paris, and all things French right now.

The Eiffel Tower is something I've always thought was really neat!

 

As I generally draw things I love, enjoy, find interesting, or cute,
why not add some sort of Eiffel Tower to my "art collection"? :)

So I spent a couple of minutes and viola!
The Bonjour! note card was born! :)
