Be Still

"Be still, and know that I am God:

I will be exalted among the heathen,

I will be exalted in the earth.

 The LORD of hosts is with us;

the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah."

~Psalms 46:10-11~

Be still, and in the quiet moments,

listen to the voice of your heavenly Father.

His words can renew your spirit...

no one knows you and your needs like He does.

More Than a Sparrow

"Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing?

and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows."

~Matthew 10:29-31~

We sometimes fear to bring our troubles to God,

because they must seem so small to Him who

sits on the circle of the earth. But if they are

large enough to ... endanger our welfare,

they are large enough to touch His heart of love.

~R. A. Torrey~
